Humankind is passionate about addressing health inequalities. We work in partnership with commissioners, the NHS, Public Health and the voluntary sector to deliver high quality services to vulnerable and excluded groups.
We believe in being fair and respectful to all and in applying rigorous quality standards.
Humankind’s Clinical department formed as a result of the merger between Humankind and St Martins Healthcare Services CIC (SMHS), a community interest company which was formed from St Martin’s Practice, a long established, experienced Primary Care and specialist community drug and alcohol service provider in Leeds. Links with NHS providers remain important to us and we continue to work closely with our Primary and Secondary Care colleagues.
We continue to deliver community substance misuse medical services to a range of rural and city populations across the north of England, including community detoxification and wider healthcare services.
