Natalie has worked for Humankind as a navigator in the Moving On Tyne and Wear project since April 2017. The programme supports people aged 25+ across Tyne and Wear who are out of work due to complex health issues and other barriers to get back into training, volunteering, or employment.
How does it work?
A referral can be made by yourself or a relevant agency e.g. GP. Once accepted onto the programme you will be assigned a Navigator, who will give you the one-to-one support you need. Your Navigator will be with you every step of the way, reviewing what help you need and ensuring you get the right support from a range of specialist services, helping you build on your strengths.
