Around 60 staff attended the latest We are Humankind Values Champions Awards in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Workers who embody the Humankind values of being committed, honest and inventive had been nominated for the awards by their colleagues.
Paul Townsley, Chief Executive Officer of Humankind, presented certificates to all who were nominated.
He said: “It’s really important to celebrate the great staff and volunteers that we have working at Humankind who deliver our services and to appreciate the people who are really well regarded by their peers and live the values of the organisation.
“We want to champion the values that everybody has chosen as our core values. It’s really important to make sure they are embedded across all our services.”
Kerry Kirsopp, Communication, Enqagement and Change Officer, said: “We know that our people go over and above to ensure that the services we are delivering are the very best, and we want to ensure that our people know how valued they are for the contribution they make, and that they are properly recognised for what they do”.
She said the We Are Humankind Values Champions Awards provided a chance to celebrate the successes of individuals and teams.
The event was held at Richmondshire Cricket Club. Staff enjoyed a buffet meal after the ceremony.
