If you are aged 18+ living in South Tyneside and identify as trans, non-binary or gender variant, we provide friendly healthcare support.
We're here to help
The Trans Health Care Coordinator service has been developed by Humankind to improve the mental, physical, and emotional health of 18+ Trans, Nonbinary and Gender Variant people living in South Tyneside.
The service aims to improve access to, and engagement with Primary Care services.
We can offer:
- One to One support around health in a holistic, person-centred way
- Signposting and support to access appropriate services if needed,
- Support to access clinical gender identity services,
- Advocacy for appropriate and affirming treatment within healthcare services.
