Humankind is a registered provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

We are proud that 40% of our services across the country are rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC and we strive every day to increase this. In 2022/23, all of our CQC-regulated services were rated ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’. Fewer than 2% of services inspected by the CQC in England receive the top overall rating of ‘Outstanding’.

Our ‘Outstanding’ services include County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service, Forward Leeds, Calderdale Recovery Steps, and North Yorkshire Horizons. We work every day to progress our standard of health and social care to an outstanding level across the board.
