Could you share your skills and experience as a Complementary Therapist to support the wellbeing of people facing disadvantage?

At the moment, we are looking for a therapist who is qualified in, or nearing the end of a substantial training in, Massage Therapy, as this has proved popular with clients.

Recovery Support Volunteer

This exciting volunteer role would suit someone with an empathetic, non-judgmental attitude who can build strong working relationships with others. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience in a drug and alcohol service and put your passion for supporting and advocating for vulnerable people to great use.

Volunteer Buddy

We are recruiting for 10 Volunteer Buddy’s to join us at Lewisham PCRS. 
Location: Depending on the aspects of the role you wish to be involved with the location may vary, but it will be based at our site in Forrest Hill.
Timings:  The timings will be flexible and we aim to work around volunteers’ availability, we just ask that you are able to be consistent.
Training: This role will involve specific training, and volunteers will be asked to complete some online training modules, as well as having access to a wide range of other training via our platform, Learning kind;
Could you use your lived experience and insight to support people to make positive changes?

Volunteer Complimentary Massage Therapist
Could you share your skills and experience as a Complementary Therapist to support the wellbeing of people facing disadvantage?

Enable is a Substance Misuse Service which is run in partnership with the NHS & Humankind. The team operates from two sites in Enfield to provide a wide range of substance misuse services to local residents, including substitute prescribing, community detox, criminal justice interventions, community care assessments, a group work programme, as well as a wide range of other interventions to non-opiate and alcohol users.
At the moment, we are looking for a therapist who is qualified in, or nearing the end of a substantial training in, Massage Therapy, as this has proved popular with clients.

Lived Experience Recovery Volunteer

Lived Experience Recovery Volunteers can support Teams within the service that are not just part of their role.
Lived Experience Recovery Volunteers  for Humankind can support clients with community appointments, educational applications, and hand out leaflets at events or within Hospitals, GP etc. Support staff at any events that are relevant.
Lived Experience Recovery Volunteers  can support clients with their exit plan to make sure that they have support if needed in the community.
